The Skinny: Christchurch, New Zealand four-piece pop/rock band Ashei share a passion for honest songwriting and a thumping live show all of which caters to rock fans looking for something fresh. With influences ranging from pop to jazz, Liam Muir, Emma Cameron, and Dan Perry each bring a unique musical approach to the group and their sound.

To date Ashei have shared the stage with a slew of known international bands the likes of The Ataris, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, The Mission in Motion, Midnight Youth, Black River Drive, Luger Boa, Ivy Lies and Dane Rumble. With each show the band’s fan base grows and there’s no sign of it slowing down.

With a true DIY approach to their music and the band, Ashei themselves do evertyhing from booking their tours and creating album art, to recording and releasing their music, the group has a hand in every part of their existence.
