Assemble your Top 8 and get your glitter graphics ready because the MySpace era is alive and well thanks to Scene Queen and 6arelyhuman. The collaborators have released a brand new track and it’s the ultimate nostalgia anthem. “Stuck” sees both artists embrace their inner scene queen with sassy lyrics for the ages and a heavy dose of emo that will transcend you back to the 2005 heyday of skinny jeans, neon makeup, and coontail hair extensions. One thing’s for sure: the two modern-day social media stars are making music that would be profile song-worthy.
“Stuck” follows on from the pink-clad metalcore queen’s latest singles “Finger,” “Milf,” “Pink Push Up Bra,” her most angsty yet, and the viral track “18+,” which called out sexual abuse in the music industry and holds up a lens to the male gaze. With her latest string of female power anthems, Scene Queen is making her voice heard and reinventing the male-dominated metal music scene.
The song arrives just ahead of Scene Queen’s 2024 UK/EU tour with Pvris, where she will play to some of her biggest venues to date. Pre-order the upcoming record, Hot Singles in Your Area. Tickets can be purchased here.
