“‘Judas Wept’ is about backstabbers and people that wrong you with no remorse. Many people can be toxic and manipulative, hurting those around them and only caring for themselves. We have all experienced someone in our lives who has used, taken advantage of, or flat-out betrayed us. We wanted to make a song that was aimed at those who we’ve experienced this kind of toxicity with and about cutting negative people with selfish/ill intentions out and confronting them with the reality of who they are.”
