She’s A Legend – “Room 434 EP” [Album Review]
They may be a pop-punk band but, by doing things a little differently, She’s A Legend might just be giving themselves a fighting chance. Read our review of their new EP here…
Room 434 is the sophomore release from the Richmond, VA based Pop-punk act She’s A Legend. I know a lot of you will be cringing because of the pop-punk word, as I sometimes do, however these guys are doing things a little bit different. This is only a 3 song EP so it is difficult to tell if they have what it takes to make some noise in the business but, based solely on what I heard here, they stand a chance.
The songs are a little moodier, melancholic and edgier than others in this genre and I think that is what makes them stand out. There are big glossy choruses and bopping rhythms for sure, but, interwoven between all of that are some honest raw aggressive punk/metal influences that set them apart. I think this is definitely an EP worth checking out.
