Dismemberment – “Cryptic Isolation” [Song Stream]

Blackened thrash metal from deep within Southern Ohio. Formed in 2009 in Laurelville, OH by Jacob and Luke Shively, Dismemberment formed a solid lineup in 2010 with the addition of JD Henderly on bass and Taylor Emerine on drums. The group recorded their first release, The Condemned EP, in the winter of 2010 at Paper Tiger Studios in Columbus, OH and released it independently on March 13th, 2011.

The Skinny: Blackened thrash metal from deep within Southern Ohio. Heavily influenced by old school tuetonic thrash, early death metal, early bay area thrash and early Norwegian black metal as well as many different styles of music, the group recorded their first release, The Condemned EP, in the winter of 2010 at Paper Tiger Studios in Columbus, OH and released it independently on March 13th, 2011.

Dismemberment are currently working on a full length album to be recorded winter 2011 and released early 2012. They’ve been fortunate enough to have already played shows with Forbidden, Revocation, Havok, White Wizzard, Skeletonwitch and have upcoming shows with Immolation, Decapitated and black metal legends Mayehm.
