Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull Own Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center [Photos]
Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull brought their “Trilogy Tour” to Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center and the entire venue went loco!
As long as I can remember, I’ve always known the song “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” It was a hit when I was growing up, and it’s just been always a core memory of sorts. So when I saw that the creator of that song, Ricky Martin, was coming to Oklahoma City, I knew I had to go. Along with him were the iconic Enrique Iglesias and legendary Pitbull, which is the trifecta of Latin artists that are must-sees. Dubbed the “Trilogy Tour,” this trek is one for the record books.
Up first was Pitbull, otherwise known as Mr. Worldwide. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, considering his bigger-than-life persona and his being an opener. That said, I was ready for anything. Before the show started, I heard one of the security people say that it would be a show to remember, so my expectations were sky-high. He did not disappoint.
He started his set with “Don’t Stop the Party,” which was high energy and even had those huge smoke machines that bellow at smoke in the air. He had everything you’d expect a headliner to have, which included a huge LED screen, backup dancers, and incredible energy.
Up next was Enrique Iglesias, who honestly was the person I was the most excited to see that night. He brought all of the hits, which included “Be With You,” “Escape,” and slow dance favourite, “Hero.” He brought so much energy to these performances, and you can tell he gave it his all.
Lastly was the one and only Ricky Martin. I wasn’t sure what to expect from him, but he is an incredible performer. He had costume changes, amazing backup dancers, and set pieces. It felt like he gave 110% that night. Being in the music industry for so long, I was shocked at just how much passion he still has for it.
If you get a chance to catch these 3 legendary Latin stars on this tour, then you have to go and check it out. You definitely won’t regret it, and they do put on one hell of a show. Heck, I barely know Spanish, and I had an amazing time, and I’m sure you will too.
