Bryan Fox Teams with Nappy Roots for New Single “That’s About Me”
Country-rock musician Bryan Fox has once again partnered up with Nappy Roots members Buffalo Stille and Ron Clutch and unveiled their new single “That’s About Me.” The song, which was recorded at Nashville’s House of Blues Studios and produced by Malcolm Springer (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul, Boz Skaggs), marks the third time the musicians have worked together. Head below to hear the song and check back on June 19th when an animated lyric video created by Fox’s teenage daughters debuts on YouTube.
Fox comments on the collab, sharing, “Our sessions together are just so fun. We are all just friends making music together and having a great time. It’s as simple as that. I think our different perspectives are what makes our collaborations so special. We are all seeing these different viewpoints come together, combining to make a song idea a lot better than anything we could have done alone. It’s beyond my comprehension to believe that everyone isn’t able to grasp this concept. We can all benefit from celebrating each other’s differences.”
Producer and co-songwriter, Malcolm Springer adds, “This song isn’t necessarily what country music needs, but it’s what the world needs right now. What a great bunch of guys to write and record with!”
