OTN Confirm a ‘Tabula Rasa’ with Their New Single “Braille” [Exclusive Premiere]
Independent Johannesburg-based alt-rock septet, OTN (short for Outside The New) have debuted the lyric video for their new single “Braille”, and confirmed a July 6th release of their debut album, Tabula Rasa.
Fresh off our announcement to expand into South Africa, we have the great pleasure of assisting independent Johannesburg-based alt-rock septet, OTN (short for Outside The New) to debut the lyric video for their new single “Braille”. The new track is the first to be released of the band’s upcoming debut, Tabula Rasa, which drops on July 6th.
A group since 2009, OTN is comprised of seasoned local vets who, together, blend their various influences and styles, including rock, hip-hop, jazz and funk, into an award-winning sound that locals are loving! Now, with a new album rooted heavily in rock, the guys are set to make an even larger hometown splash, not to mention continue to push their name and tunes outside of their homeland.
Vocalist Duane Arthur was kind enough to send over an exclusive quote about OTN’s new song:
“‘Braille’ is upbeat, punchy, guitar-driven rock with a message. The song speaks of one’s actions having far reaching consequences in a world that is inextricably intertwined. OTN is absolutely thrilled to be debuting the lyric video for the single “Braille” exclusively on PureGrainAudio!”
