GUNFIGHT! Show Off Their ‘Stripes’ with Stream of “Veteran’s Bridge”
Brooklyn’s GunFight! has released a stream of their sophomore album Stripes lead single “Veteran’s Bridge.”
Brooklyn’s GunFight! has released a stream of their sophomore album Stripes‘ lead single “Veteran’s Bridge.” The band is celebrating their tenth year together this year and are very excited for the album’s release. The new song is a rollicking roots-country-meets-post-punk track that shows off the band’s ability to draw influences from old-school music and combine them into a sound all their own.
Stripes picks up where GunFight!’s debut LP Frontier Land left off. The first album focused on the optimism and feeling of unlimited potential in setting down roots in New York City, while the new record moves towards painting an image of life with one foot still in the world of open possibility, and one foot in the world of growing older, getting a job, and learning to love.
