The Skinny: This blackened thrash metal group is back at it and in better form then ever! Ohio based band Dismemberment self-released their first EP, The Condemned, on March 13, 2011 and since then have been honing their chops and getting even more brutal. After tirelessly recording through the Winter of 2011 with Bobby Leonard at Paper Tiger Studios, Dismemberment are more than pleased to have announced a March 17 release for their latest album, Denied Salvation.
With influences running the gamut from old school tuetonic thrash, early death metal, early bay area thrash and early Norwegian black metal (amongst other musical styles), this new EP is full of unique and blistering songs. The release also features artwork by the renowned Andrei Bouzikov (Municipal Waste, Skeletonwitch, Cannabis Corpse) and the single comes with exclusive artwork by Tony Karnes (Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch, Ghost). Truly enjoy this free download and as always, share, share, share!
