The Skinny: The Baghdaddios, indie veterans of the Lower East Side punk rock scene, have been making music in NYC for over 17 years. One of the best loved, underground acts of the late ’90s, they continue to record and release new songs. This Tuesday, May 4th, The Baghdaddios released a special issue targeting moms, “Song Fer Ma (Happy Mutha’s Day)”. Recorded In the same old-school punk style which defines their sound, the group has also released additional mixes of the tune, including an acoustic and spoken word version which is accessible on their MySpace page. All in all, very punk, very indie, very D.I.Y. and very current. [ END ]
