Album Review
To Speak Of Wolves – “Find Your Worth, Come Home”
Let me start off by saying I enjoyed this album more than my PGA counterpart, Bruce Moore – as you can see by my review’s rating versus his. The thing that I like the most about this album is that new front man Gage Speas does both the clean vocals AND the screaming – it’s fantastic. Then you take a song like “A Simple Though That Changed Everything” and get a curve ball as it doesn’t feature any screaming at all! Instead it really showcases Gage’s singing talents. With that being said, this album is darn near close to perfect.

Find Your Worth, Come Home is ALL about the band’s new singer, Gage Speas. From song #1, “Hivemind,” you immediately hear the vast improvement from the band’s last album. The disc starts off in ultra high gear with the opening track being a hard, fast ball of fury and energy that kicks you right in the teeth. From there is doesn’t ever falter. The second song, “Stand Alone Complex”, features guest vocals from Micah Kinard (Oh, Sleeper) and is every bit as good as any Oh, Sleeper song, if not, better.
The rest of the release is filled with intricate guitars and complex rhythms that would make even the most avid Tool fan foam at the mouth. Even Phil Chamberlain’s drums complete every track to the utmost satisfaction. My favorite songs are “Hivemind”, “Stand Alone Complex”, “Nostalgia Seeds”, “Je Suis Fini”, “A Simple Thought That Changed Everything” and “Dialysis Dreams”. Check this out post-haste.
