Darren Sawrenko, known by his stage name Deully, releases his latest album, This Long Road, a compelling and honest exploration of his ongoing battle with mental health and addiction recovery. Each track on the album is a poignant reflection of his mental state at its creation, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into the struggles and triumphs of his personal life.
“I named the album This Long Road as a reminder to myself that it will in fact be a long road to a full recovery. It’s an in-your-face rock album with driving guitar riffs and powerful emotional lyrics. A true thrill ride front to back,” he says.
Deully is an independent rock musician from Saskatchewan, Canada. His musical journey began in his early years, where exposure to a diverse range of genres, from blues and jazz to hard rock and heavy metal, fueled his passion for creating unique sounds. Deully is committed to creating authentic and meaningful music that resonates with listeners on a visceral level.
‘This Could Be A Good Life,’ the first track on the album, is a high-energy rock piece that features gritty hooks alongside Deully’s authentic vocals. The album takes the listener on a musical journey, as the final song, “Tonight I Say Goodbye,” highlights a mellow and softer side to his music. With his unique sound and captivating lyrics, Deully is quickly making a name for himself in the industry.
