Pepper Gomez and Carpente Premiere Their Voluptuous Single “Love You So Bad”
Sculpting a lush, sybaritic soundscape pulsating with a mythic structure, Pepper Gomez and Carpente premiere their single “Love You So Bad.”

House vocalist Pepper Gomez collaborates with Carpente on their new single/visualizer “Love You So Bad” (Wake Up! Music Group), an erotic EDM track smouldering with come-hither temptation. The pair’s previous collaborations include “Moonlight Drive,” “Baby Don’t Wanna Let Go,” and “Lady Libertad.”
Speaking about “Love You So Bad,” Gomez shares:
“This was so fun to sing! I basically jammed with myself! Carpente’s tracks are always great for my creative process. The vox came a-flowing once I was in the studio with Drew Correa. My House roots (and multi-entendres) are ever present in anything I sing – even though I would not call this House per se. The studio can be so magical. We should never forget that we are here to love. Music is a beautiful way to love the world. It takes many people – from us to you!”
Gomez began creating house music during the genre’s seminal stage in the mid-’80s. After several of her tracks charted on Billboard, she immersed herself in Flamenco. About seven years ago, she returned to her origins, revealing her titillating, distinctive style when producers invited her to provide vocals for their projects.
Carpente, aka Kenny Carpenter, composes, produces, runs his own label, sings, and makes films.
“Love You So Bad” amalgamates nu EDM, house-influenced trancey vocals, and electronic elements into a swaying, erotic melody. Like a benevolent Siren, Gomez’s wickedly bewitching vocals beckon listeners into an exotic, sensual milieu oozing with voluptuous magnetism – chugging synths, a throbbing, erogenous rhythm, and opulent, swirling strings.
Sculpting a lush, sybaritic soundscape pulsating with a mythic structure, “Love You So Bad” projects inexorable erotism.
