The Used (w/ Sleeping with Sirens, Dead American) Smash a Sold-Out Cain’s Ballroom [Photos]

Even after 20 years, The Used is still selling out shows, which is quite a feat. It was shocking to me that a band that’s been at it for this long can still sell out historic venues like the Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I can’t recall the last time they were there, so you could feel the excitement in the room for this night that many had been waiting for ages for them to come.

And they did not disappoint. They had so much energy, and you could tell the band was loving feeding off of all of this energy as well. Besides sounding incredible, their set design also was really cool. The entire stage was decked out in pink flowers, which made a wonderful juxtaposition to how gritty their music is.

Sleeping with Sirens and Dead American opened the night. It was my first time seeing both, and they were both on fire as well. SWS even played some of their songs from back in the day, which I knew made fans happy.

If you get a chance, make sure you check out this tour when it comes to a town near you. You definitely won’t regret it.
