Following the success of their series of live performances dubbed “The Quarantine Sessions,” Philadelphia, PA fuzz rockers, The Stone Eye has now unveiled an album called, The Quarantine Sessions: Volume 1.
The album is the end result of the band making up for their COVID-19-cancelled tour wherein they—musicians Stephen Burdick (guitar, vocals, keys), Jeremiah Bertin (drums), Christian Mechem (guitar), and Wolfgang Noll (bass)—live-streamed performances to their fans following the February 28th release of their thirteen-track album, Ventura, via Electric Talon Records.
Commenting on the news, the band share, “The Stone Eye is excited to announce The Quarantine Sessions: Volume 1 – a twenty-seven song adaptation of ‘The Quarantine Sessions’ video series, which finds the band exploring their own discography and playing songs spanning the entire five-album discography in a live setting. Recorded live throughout a five-week period between the months of April and May, this is as raw as you’re going to get from your favorite Philadelphian fuzz-heads.”
