It’s the start of another week in lockdown here at V13, so here’s a bunch of new songs to get you through the next seven days. 01. Kid Kapichi – “Household Shame”
– One of the most exciting new bands of the moment, Hastings four-piece Kid Kapichi have released a brand new single “Household Shame”.

02. Naxen – “To Welcome The Withering”
– German black metal band Naxen are to release their highly anticipated first full length album on June 5th via Vendetta Records and you can you check out a taster here.

03. Prism Tats – “Mother’s Son”
– LA’s Prism Tats is releasing a new song called “Mother’s Son” . The song is accompanied by a new karaoke screen style lyric video which he shot himself.

04. On Hollow Ground- “Our Lives”
– Taking inspiration from the likes of Emmure and Veil Of Maya, Our Hollow Ground have released their new track “Our Lives”, taken from their upcoming album, Blood Is Blood, out July 17.

05. Stay Over- “Girls”
– Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of influences such as Kid Cudi, Death Cab for Cutie, and even Shakespeare, Stay Over have collaborated with Jutes for the new track, “Girls”. Check out the song here:

06. Ananda Mida – “Blank Stare”
Ananda Mida have released a brand new and hypnotic music video for “Blank Stare”. The track is taken from their recent full length record Cathodnatius.

07. The Five Hundred – “Black Dogs”
– Aggressive and euphoric, The Five Hundred are back with new single, “Black Dogs”, a song about isolation and the plague of mental health. The single is taken from their upcoming album due October 2020 through Long Branch Records.

08. Yard Arms – “Mantra”
Yard Arms return with their promisingly melancholic new single “Mantra”, described by lyricist and frontman Villeneuve as a ‘triumphant love letter to the anxious’.

09. Joshua Burnside – “Whiskey Whiskey”
– Three years after the release of his award winning debut Ephrata, indie-folk artist Joshua Burnside returns with new track “Whiskey Whiskey”.

10. The Winter Passing – “Resist”
– Emerging from Dublin’s thriving DIY punk/hardcore scene, The Winter Passing release their new album, New Ways Of Living, on July 3, 2020 and you can check out the new single “Resist” here:

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
