Greensky Bluegrass Reveal Early 2020 Winter Tour Dates
Kalamazoo, Michigan’s purveyors of aptly-mixed Americana, bluegrass, and indie rock, Greensky Bluegrass, are kicking off the New Year with some soul-warming live performances. The newly-announced U.S. tour will see the band—Anders Beck (dobro), Michael Arlen Bont (banjo), Dave Bruzza (guitar), Mike Devol (upright bass), and Paul Hoffman (mandolin)—bring their alt-bluegrass sounds to the masses for nearly 20 dates throughout January and February, supporting their 2019 release, All For Money.
Speaking of their high-energy shows, Beck commented, “We’re a rock-and-roll band that plays bluegrass instruments. Bluegrass is such a finite thing. Because you have a banjo and a mandolin, you’re supposed to do it a certain way. But we’ve always been ourselves.”
The upcoming winter tour aside, from June 4th to 6th Greensky Bluegrass will also host the third annual Camp Greensky Music Festival in Wellston, MI.
