Twelve fun, polished-yet-gritty rock tracks are what await listeners on the debut, self-titled full-length from Kansas City upstarts, Hot Suede. The hard rockers, who are being likened to Queens of the Stone Age and Soundgarden, should sit well with fans of all rock in general and, if you ask us, have more in common with Primal Scream or Velvet Revolver then the previously-mentioned bands. Consisting of five musicians — vocalist Bobby W. Topaz, guitarists Doug Nelson and Scott Reed, drummer Brett Southard, and bassist Chad Toney — Hot Suede are set to release their steamy, sticky debut on Friday, May 17th, and pre-orders can be made now on Bandcamp.

Celebrating the birth of this beauty band, plus their pending release and album release show on May 18th (where they play alongside Sons of Great Dane), we’re thrilled to be the first place people get to check out all twelve of the new jams.

With around forty-three minutes of rad rock on display, you can expect both head-bobbing and good times. Speaking of the occasion, the group checked in with the following comment: “We are super stoked to release the new album. We spent a lot of time getting it together and we are proud of the results. We think you will be pleased with the album!”

Without further ado, lube up and slide into some Hot Suede ASAP!
