It’s the start of another new week here at PureGrainAudio so, to set you going, we’ve pulled together ten new songs, videos, and bands that have recently landed in our inbox that we think you should check out. Enjoy!

1. August Spies – “Accidents Happen”
Hell Is For Heroes frontman Justin Schlosberg, aka August Spies, has revealed the video for “Accidents Happen”, another track from his forthcoming debut EP. Titled Corruption of The Human Heart, the EP is set for release on 6th May 2019 on his own label Captains of Industry. Check out the band on Facebook.


2. Best Of Enemies – “Shake The Feeling”
– Croydon pop-rock four-piece Best of Enemies have released a new track “Shake The Feeling” alongside a music video filmed in the British seaside town of Brighton. The track is the second to be released from their upcoming EP A Fear That Comes Around. Check out the band on Facebook.


3. Jaret & Kelly – “Doin’ Alright”
– Continuing their latest musical journey together as a duo after many years as friends, Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick and the bass slingin’ Dollyrot, Kelly Ogden, aka Jaret & Kelly, have released the second track from their debut album Sittin’ In A Tree. Check out the band on Facebook.


4. Heavy Rapids – “Infected Nightmares (Frankenstein)”
– Glasgow’s Heavy Rapids have announced the release of their debut EP titled Cash In Hand and you can check out the punk-fuelled anthem “Infected Nightmares (Frankenstein)” here. Check out the band on Facebook.

5. Holy Fawn – “Dark Stone”
Holy Fawn, the Phoenix based band who describe themselves as “four creatures making loud heavy pretty noises, have released a video for “Dark Stone” from their Death Spells album released via Triple Crown Records. Check out the band on Facebook.


6. Sabbath Assembly – “Ascend & Descend”
– Texas/NYC-based dark rock veterans, artist collective Sabbath Assembly release their seventh studio album, the hotly anticipated A Letter Of Red, on April 26th and you can check out a Ascend & Descend from the album here. Check out the band on Facebook.


7. Sleep Talk – “Slowfade”
– Adelaide alternative outfit Sleep Talk have unveiled their new single and music video “Slowfade” which is taken from their forthcoming debut full-length Everything In Colour. Check out the band on Facebook.


8. Ohnova – “Banjo Mac”
– Glasgow rockers Ohnova have just released a brand new single called “Banjo Mac”, which is taken from the forthcoming EP I Can’t Sleep which is set for release this coming May. Check out the band on Facebook.


9. Ryan Hamilton and the Harlequin Ghosts – “Mamacita”
Ryan Hamilton and the Harlequin Ghosts release their debut album, This Is The Sound, on May 31st and you can check out the new single, “Mamacita”, right here. Check out the band on Facebook.


10. Limbs – “Abandoned”
– Post-hardcore band Limbs have released a hard-hitting new single, “Abandoned”, following news that longtime friend Austin McAuley will be stepping into the role of lead vocalist. Check out the band on Facebook.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
