Today, in support of the #mellowmovement, we’re offering a free high-quality MP3 download of the single “My Face Is Hangin’ Low” from Boston, MA indie folkers, Lick Neon, whose debut thirteen-track album, Be Good To Yourself, is due on March 15th.
Sometimes people just need to mellow the hell out. Other times, rather than get all hopped up on java and stressed about AM rush hour traffic, folks just need to ease into their day. That’s why, today, in support of the #mellowmovement, we’re offering a free high-quality MP3 download of the single “My Face Is Hangin’ Low” from Boston, MA indie folkers, Lick Neon. This dope group of well-mannered musicians produce some tame but tantalizing rock, the kind found on Lick Neon’s debut thirteen-track album, Be Good To Yourself, due out on March 15, 2019.

Speaking of the single, frontman Nick Leon commented: “The new single, “My Face Is Hangin’ Low” functions as two things. Firstly, I wrote a chord sequence and rhythmic structure that I felt would allow the band to show their skills as fine tuned musicians. Secondly, the darkness of the harmony allows the lyrics to reign true, catered to the experience of a lonesome wanderer longing for a place they are welcome.”
