We’re always up for a little local action, heck, it’s how we cut our teeth, so we’ve decided to kick off this (partial) Canadian holiday weekend with the premiere of Toronto area heavy rock band Lawless Sons’ new video for their rippin’ single, “Mufasa.” The track comes from the guys’ latest EP, P.T.S.D., which dropped today! So, if ya dig what you’re hearing, make sure you head over to the group’s Bandcamp page for some P.T.S.D.. (P.T.S.D.: a range of different emotions individuals carry around, and the complications that come from emotions and thoughts that are bound together from the same trauma.)

Lawless Sons come at ya with a lot of cred, having already played with acts the likes as Sebastien Bach, Moneen, Sumo Cyco and Black Lungs. “Mufasa” itself, as guitarist and vocalist V Ruckus notes, “is a song that deals with the struggle to preserve culture, as it tackles the need to protect yourself and the things that you have accumulated. It captures the feeling of strength and empowerment to rise, when integrity is on the line.”

We ain’t no “Liar”, this song and video is also totes dope.
