CONS Harness Some Chaotic Energy on Stream for New Song “I Woke Up Like This”
Tucson, Arizona five-piece hardcore rockers Cons have released a stream for “I Woke Up Like This” from their debut EP, Slowhealer.

Tucson, Arizona five-piece hardcore rockers Cons have released a stream for “I Woke Up Like This” from their debut EP, Slowhealer. Slowhealer captures the angst of a band that has gone through several deaths among their friends, along with the regrets and triumphs of growing up disenfranchised in a small desert city.
When talking about the single, singer Jeremy Talley, said, “I Woke Up Like This’ was a song that was structurally written through the long lost art of mouth noises and steering wheel drums while driving around. Incrementally patch worked together in a rehearsal spot and finely detail in the studio. The idea behind this song was to harness a short chaotic burst of energy for the record and we are happy with the result.”
