The guest line-up for Toronto ComiCon continues to grow with several new additions including the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Kristy Swanson.
Swanson is best known for her leading role in the 1992 movie version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The movie spawned a hit TV series that launched the career of “The King of Nerds” Joss Whedon. Swanson has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows including roles on Psych, Deadly Friend and many more.
TCC also added John Wesley Shipp to the lists of guests. Shipp played Barry Allen/The Flash in the short-lived 1990 series. He has had two recurring roles in the new Flash series, the first being Henry Allen, the father of the new Flash, played by Grant Gustin, as well as playing Jay Garrick, a Flash from an alternate universe based on the original version of the character.
Canadian actor and stuntman Eugene Brave Rock will also appear at TCC. Brave Rock is best known for his role as The Chief in the hit movie Wonder Woman.
Toronto ComiCon runs from March 16 to 18 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The sister event to Fan Expo, Canada’s largest fan convention, the event features stars from science fiction, fantasy, horror and comic book movies, comic book artists, professional cosplayers and much more.
