LILIM’s Feminist Message Hits Hard on “Prettiest Girl” Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]
Toronto’s LILIM is a loud-as-shit, female-fronted metal group with a poignant feminist message and we’re debuting their debut “Prettiest Girl” music video!
Toronto’s LILIM is a loud-as-shit, female-fronted metal group with a poignant feminist message and killer licks to boot. Their self-titled EP LILIM dropped on March 18th and today we’re thrilled to be debuting their debut music video for the single “Prettiest Girl”.
Commenting on the video, the group noted: “’Prettiest Girl’ is a labour of love, a true measure of the community that surrounds LILIM. Everyone who worked on this video did so for free to help us make exactly what we wanted. DIY till you DIE we say. It was really amazing to be able to sit back and watch the young dancers take our song and make it their own. Collaborating was really the best part. Big thanks to director Jesse Bennett (Teethmarks) and producer Sonny Ganz for all their time, effort and patience.”
