For over 4 decades KISS has been taking the world by storm, bringing their over-the-top show spectacle to large venues crammed with adoring fans. Every now and then, however, the band throws in a few shows booked in much smaller rooms. Casino Rama Resort, with it’s relatively small capacity of 5000 was the lucky recipient of the only Canadian tour stop this time around.
The band opened up the show in bombastic KISS fashion with drummer Eric Singer and his massive drum rig flying in from above the stage as Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and Tommy Thayer stormed the front of the stage and launched into their mega hit “Deuce” followed by “Shout It Out Loud”.
