Through Fire – “Breathe” [Album Review]
Straddling the line between hard rock and metal, Through Fire’s debut Breathe could be the start of a very healthy career. Read our review here…
Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska the hard rockers Through Fire make a definitive statement on the music scene with their latest release, Breathe. This record is super riff heavy with tons of melody and choruses that are sure to ingrain themselves in your head. The band perfectly straddles the fine line between heaviness and melody making this album, what I feel is, a terrific listen and something that will appeal to both hard rock and metal fans alike.
“Reborn” gets the party started in high fashion, kicking open the proverbial barn doors and letting the listener know that Through Fire is here and they mean business. After a listening to “Reborn”, I was not sure if the band could continue the momentum for the remainder of the disc but I am here to tell you that they do just that. Every song on this record is good and the remaining tracks do not disappoint, not to mention a few extra bonus tracks and remixes round out the disc.
At the end of the day, Breathe is a terrific debut and I am positive this is only the beginning of long, healthy career in the rock and roll business.
