Check Out a New Track from ALYESKA with “Sister Bucksin”; ‘Crush’ EP Out Tomorrow
Los Angeles dream rock band Alyeska has shared their new track “Sister Buckskin”, the third single from their debut EP.
Los Angeles dream rock band Alyeska has shared their new track “Sister Buckskin”, the third single from their debut EP. The band will release Crush tomorrow, March 31st, independently. The song follows “Tilt-A-Whirl” and “Motel State of Mind,” which were shared earlier this month.
Singer and songwriter Alaska Reid commented: “My mum actually asked me if this song was about ‘illicit behaviour'” – like truckers, hookers and cooking meth. I told her no – I was just trying to rip off the Replacements.”
Crush was the last release to be recorded at New York studio The Magic Shop, with it having closed its doors after the band recorded the EP. The record was produced by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Dinosaur Jr., Phosphorescent).
