MOON Streaming New Single “I Got A Fever” via SoundCloud

The Skinny: Los Angeles duo MOON are now premiering their debut single “I Got A Fever” online. The single, mixed by Mark Needham at Ballroom Studio (Los Angeles), recently appeared on iTunes “Hot Tracks” charts, and synced to the complete TV show intro for USA’s new hit show ‘Colony.’

“During a casual in-studio hang, we decided to change things up with me on drums instead of bass,” singer Chelsea Davis explained. “Dan created a loop on the 808 and we just started playing. No pre-production or anything, we just went for it!”

“I grabbed the bass, and after three run-throughs we had a song and a top line idea,” adds guitarist, Dan Silver. “Staying true to my rock ‘n’ roll roots while embracing my entourage of synths, we were able to add unique colors and textures, keeping it in fashion with the MOON vibe.”

“This song happened very fast and organically,” says singer Chelsea Davis. “Being raised in the southwest I was able to show my true character singing this. Dan’s Midwest rock background really shines in this song as well. What started as an jam session quickly turned into our first single release.”
