MEET THE STARS – Free FANZONE Event at Toronto Eaton Centre – March 12, 2016

The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television is welcoming fans to meet their favourite stars at the FREE FanZone MEET THE STARS event, which is held at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre at 2pm on Saturday, March 12, 2016 during Canadian Screen Week.

“The Academy’s FanZone MEET THE STARS event brings fans together with top Canadian talent,” says Karen Bruce, Academy Director, Membership & Fan Engagement. “It gives the public the opportunity to meet and take pictures with some of the biggest stars from Canadian television shows.”

The event is hosted by Erin Keaney (motherloadtv.jimdo.com) and will include personalities from shows on Bell Media, CBC, Family Channel, Rogers, Shaw Media and YTV.

Fans can also take part in the #FanZone Front of the Line Contest. To enter they must tweet a selfie naming which person they are most excited to see at FanZone and tag it #CdnScreen16#FanZone.

The Academy’s FanZone MEET THE STARS Contest is now open and runs until March 10. The winner (plus a friend) will receive VIP Access to the FanZone event. The winner will be notifiedMarch 11.
