Toronto troubadour Lori Yates has unveiled her new single “Time After Time.” Written by Yates and the legendary Guy Clark, the single is now streaming and proceeds the artist’s forthcoming new album, Matador, which will be out in January 2024!
Yates has shared stages and studios with a dizzying array of music heavyweights, including Roky Erickson, Rick Danko, Colin Linden, Jim Cuddy, duets with Tom Wilson and Greg Allman.
Guy Clark, commonly referred to as “King of the Texas troubadours,” is one of the pioneers and originators of the Americana genre. He wrote with and for many of the best, including Jerry Jeff Walker, Kathy Mattea, Lyle Lovett, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Yates.
