The Skinny: Soldiers Of Fortune started back in August 2004 as an anti-band. The idea was – instigated by Brad Truax – to put together a cracked mercenary “dirty dozen” type of outfit, who were never gonna write songs, never gonna practice, never gonna record music, never make any product for public consumption or ever hit the road!

Although Soldiers Of Fortune’s musical philosophy has stayed intact, they have strayed the path a bit with live shows and releases. On November 6 their newest full-length, Early Risers, will be released via Mexican Summer. Recently the band shared the album’s lead single “Nails” on YouTube – listen below!
