The Skinny: We’re pleased to bring you this exclusive premiere of the music video for the song “Haze” from St. Catharines, ON-based hard rock/grunge band, STANDARDS. “Haze” is from the group’s new album, KID, which was released on November 6th, 2014.
Said the band of the video: “[the] video was shot in our (Jesse & Dre) elementary school. I guess you could say it’s where we both started ‘jamming’ together when we were kids. The song itself speaks a lot about personal struggles towards how fast time really ticks away. It feels like the past 15 years of my life have just flown by at such a rapid pace, and I wanted to portray that feeling by shooting the video somewhere I imagined I’d never outgrow. But obviously I did, we all do – that’s life & we’re only just beginning to grasp that reality. Danielle Morandini helped us film it and we can honestly say she did an amazing job.”
