Filmed in brilliant high quality HD, this is a pleasure to watch and the set list is absolutely phenomenal. Mixing some of their biggest hits like, “Love In An Elevator,” “Sweet Emotion,” and “Walk This Way,” with material from deep within their catalog, the viewer is treated to more than 90 minutes of high-energy, hard rocking fun that is an Aerosmith show. Interspersed between the live segments are candid snippets of the band traveling, exploring the country, and interacting with fans.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the film, but judging by the smiles on the band members’ faces they might have enjoyed it even more. I think Rock For The Rising Sun is not only touching but also a must-have for Aerosmith fans, or fans of live music in general.
