Album Review
Twisted Sister – “Live at Hammersmith” [Live CD]
This disc was recorded live in 1984 when Twisted Sister was at the height of their success and were dominating the airwaves. I have been a huge Twisted Sister fan since their early bar days and I have seen them on numerous occasions. I can say with all honesty that this disc comes about as close as you can get to actually being there in the audience.

I am not a big fan of live discs in general, but I think the energy, power and aggression are captured with such tremendous accuracy that whether you are a fan of the band from the early days, or of their big ’80s hits, then this is a disc you will totally dig. It is capped off by two cover songs recorded live from Detroit in 1979; a great rendition of the Elvis Presley hit, “Jailhouse Rock” and the Aerosmith classic, “Train Kept A-Rollin”. Live At Hammersmith is a disc I would recommend without reservation.
