The Skinny: German death metal newcomers September Murder have launched a stream of their new song “In Celebration of Mankind’s Wretchedness”, the first sampling from their second album He Who Invokes Decadence. Guitarist Emu comments on the album as follows: “We’ve been working on our second album for the past two years. It took one year to write it and another on for the recordings and final production. By giving you first tangible information, we feel proud and relieved at the same time. This album turned out as the stiffest piece of work we’ve ever dedicated to, but rarely did a result inspired and spurred us likewise. Concerning our own concept of sound and song writing we wanted to tear down self-set boundaries and conquer new paths. Of particular importance was to push our creativity to the next level to show also ourselves in what degree we matured in our work and what our own musicality can offer us.”
