Kyoto Drive – “‘Breathe” [Song Stream]

Kyoto Drive formed in 2009 when Birmingham boys Adam, Mike and brothers Mark and Chris united with a vision of creating uplifting, catchy and powerful music. Immediately the band began moving forward; they got themselves a van, started touring the UK and began releasing music. Only two years later and the group had earned themselves supporting slots on UK and European tours with The Morning Of and Rookie Of The Year and Mae, as well as shared the stage with pop rock heavy weights The Starting Line, Hit The Lights and Young Guns.

The Skinny: Kyoto Drive formed in 2009 when Birmingham boys Adam, Mike and brothers Mark and Chris united with a vision of creating uplifting, catchy and powerful music.

Enter 2012 and already has transpired. Though original member Chris would leave the band band in January, fortunately he was quickly replaced by drummer Mitch Davies after a recommendation from friends. With the new line up rounded out, the band was able to push forward and now, with help from producer Matt O’Grady (Deaf Havana, You Me At Six), finished have putting the final touches on their 7 track mini album called The Approach. Kyoto Drive also recently signed to London’s I Am Mighty Records and will have more UK and Euro tours announced soon.
