Tesla are returning to the fold with their highly anticipated album, Forever More. The process began back in January when the band, consisting of Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (guitar, backing vocals), Dave Rude (guitar, backing vocals), Brian Wheat (bass, piano, backing vocals), and Troy Luccketta (drums), was planning their debut DVD, Comin’ Atcha Live! 2008 DVD, while planning their Mid-West tour of America. When they returned in March after extensive touring, they returned to the studio to begin their recording process while they edited the DVD and planned for a summer tour of Europe. “We’re riding a wave of energy that doesn’t come easy for a band of rookies much less a band whose been doing this for over 20 years – and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Forever More brings a new taste of their original material and more exciting songs. Tesla worked on the album through April and May, writing and creating new and developed ideas for the album, doing everything they can to bring fresh sounds to the stage as they prepared for their trip to Europe to perform in huge festivals with rock giants such as Judas Priest, Kiss, Saxon and many more.

Once they returned from their adventures in Europe, Tesla quickly returned to the studio to continue to work on the upcoming album. They planned to attend American festival shows for July and August, playing along side more rock giants such as Matchbox Twenty, the Wallflowers, Queensryche, Kiss, and Judas Priest. “It’s great that we can play with any band, of any music genre, because we’ve never been pigeon-holed into a style or label of music throughout our career.”

Lead singer, Frank Hannon, talks about the upcoming album and what to look out for within the songs. “Forever More demonstrates this idea of writing songs in a diverse fashion. The title track is one of our deeper cuts complete with heavy lyrics, de-tuned riffs and acoustic interludes, while, “I Wanna Live” is one of our more uplifting songs that bounces musically and delivers a lyrical message that suggests living life to the fullest. The rest of the album takes a similar ride of dynamic ups and down with songs like “So What!,” “Fallin’ Apart,” “Breakin’ Free,” “The Game,” “All Of Me” and “The First Time.” He continues, “Like our albums of the past, all the tracks on Forever More offer a variety of emotions where each song has its own twist–not sounding like another. Forever More was written and recorded during a period of high energy and bizarre life circumstances for each of Tesla’s band members, with those experiences coming full circle throughout the CD.”

As the band finishes up some sound mixes, they are planning on heading out on tour in October and are also planning dates for European festivals next summer. This upcoming album will have a lot to offer to its loyal fans as Frank states, “We welcome you to jump on this wild ride with us and we hope to keep giving you good times and music during this wild ride we call “life.” I’m sure with this album, Tesla’s fan base will grow dramatically and their presence will leave a strong mark now and Forever More.
