Brooklyn Rockers ELIZA AND THE ORGANIX Offer a “Road Home” with Their New Music Video [Exclusive Premiere]
Brooklyn, New York rockers, Eliza and the Organix, are a fun mix of funk, rock, and indie that’s as chill as it is dancy, as current as it is retro and, today, we have the pleasure of debuting the group’s new music video for the single “Road Home”.
Brooklyn, New York rockers, Eliza and the Organix, are a fun mix of funk, rock, and indie that’s as chill as it is dancy, as current as it is retro. Today, while getting stoked for the upcoming album Present Future Dreams: Part II, we have the pleasure of debuting the group’s new music video for the single “Road Home”. The track, which is out tomorrow via most providers such as iTunes and Google Play Music, comes just in time for the band’s January 19th show at Coney Island Baby along with Talay, Mad Meg, and The Grasping Straws.
Eliza and the Organix is centered around front woman Eliza Waldman who, of the new video, said:
“‘Road Home’, our new music video, is a surrealist story set in a beach town on the Jersey shore. It deals with the themes of the internal and the external and how we present ourselves to the world- it’s also a fun, quirky, weird romp of a pop song that gets kind of rowdy and features people in animal masks running around. We shot it all in a single pretty hectic day. The inspiration for the song came from a moment in 2013 when I was having a fight with my older sister and feeling pretty dissatisfied with a romantic partner, and I started thinking about the masks people wear to protect themselves. And as I type this, I’m just now realizing how that ties into the animal masks in the video!”
“Trust Me”, just watch this video before you navigate away.
