Nickelback – “Feed the Machine” [Song Review]
Nickelback released the first single off their forthcoming album Feed the Machine and it’s amazing.
When I first hit play on “Feed the Machine”, let me just tell you that it was nothing like what I expected. Despite the not-obviously-but-probably-going-to-be-heavy track title, I was envisioning the feel-good, pop-rock Nickelback I’d grown up listening to. (Remember “How You Remind Me” and “Photograph”?)
“Feed the Machine” is the first single off Nickelback’s forthcoming album of the same name, and if it’s any indication of how the rest of the release is going to be, you can rest assured that it’s going to be pretty damn great. The song actually sounds very Breaking Benjamin, except with Chad Kroeger’s notable vocals, of course.
Feed the Machine releases June 9th, 2017, with a supporting tour across North America beginning at the end of June.
Run Time: 4:58
Release Date: February 1, 2017
