The Enemy Line Heat Things Up with Their “Fireball” Music Video [Premiere]
Are you ready for a blast of southern rock? Because we got a molten rock “Fireball” coming your way today thanks to the brand new music video from The Enemy Line. Featuring the band passionately performing the song in an outdoor field, “Fireball” is a total summer rocker, the type of tune you put on during a backyard barbecue.
You can’t help but notice the influence of the great southern rockers from past and present throughout, with the song conjuring up memories of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger and more current acts such as Shinedown and Black Stone Cherry. It’s no surprise that the band members hail from Michigan, the birthplace of so many legendary southern acts.
Checking in with a quick comment on the new single, lead singer Kymee Dawn said, “‘Fireball’ is a song about a girl who’s unappreciated and over it, then proceeds to burn down the town.”
Joining the talented and charismatic Dawn is her brother Kurt Stone who shares lead vocal duties with his sister. Both were raised on country music and became motivated to form a band that would encompass the sounds of classic country, classic rock, modern rock, and modern country. Joining Dawn and Stone is the talented Cody Martinez who takes care of drumming duties. Martinez is actually an import from the hard rock/heavy metal world where he previously made his living as a drummer.
Originally forming in 2016, The Enemy Line was soon afforded the opportunity to open for David Lee Murphy and Uncle Kracker at a local radio station’s Christmas party. That turned out to be the band’s big break and have gone on to play the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, Tennessee. With so much promise and still more room to grow, you’ll be hearing a lot more from The Enemy Line for a long time to come.
