Dead Freights Premiere Music Video for Raucous New Single “Shot Girl Summer”
Indie band Dead Freights continue their revolution with the release of new single “Shot Girl Summer” premiering the video here.
Noisy indie-rock outfit Dead Freights are celebrating the release of their debut EP, The Fury Tape, which dropped today through Gary Powell’s (The Libertines) 25 Hour Convenience Store Records.
Speaking about the band and the EP, their label boss said:
“The Dead Freights are a unique beast, in that they have taken all of the ‘best bits’ that influence them musically and otherworld creatively, to produce a body of work that encapsulates whom they are as individuals and as a band. It is an absolute pleasure to not only sign them to my label 25 Hour Convenience Store because of their creative brilliance but also to produce them – and there was no better backdrop for this than our own Albion Room Studios.”
Accompanying the release, the band has dropped their new single, “Shot Girl Summer,” and is premiering the video for the raucous slice of indie rock.
Three minutes of pure, unadulterated hi-octane rock and roll in true DIY fashion, the band is quickly building up a reputation for adrenaline-fuelled live shows. They aim to unite every crowd member in singing every word at future Dead Freights shows, no matter how different their identity and story.
Dead Freights create anthems for generation Z of misfits, punks, and goths, driving the reemergence of guitar music. Join their rock ’n’ revolution here.
