Nashville country artist Amanda Jordan is pleased to share the official music video for her newest single, “You Don’t Wanna Know.”

Co-written by Amanda with Rick Huckaby, “You Don’t Wanna Know” is a soulful country single that warns of certain heartbreak for a new girl at the hands of a love she once had. Produced by Joël Bruyère, it is also the first track to arrive from the artist’s debut album, arriving later this year. Amanda co-produced and co-directed the video along with Jeff Isy.

In speaking about the song, Amanda Jordan says:

“I wrote this song as a letter to another girl about a guy who just isn’t who he says he is. In dating situations, I believe it’s important to watch for red flags, check your facts, and take warnings from other women seriously. When we’ve experienced a devastating heartbreak firsthand and see the same warning signs for someone else, this should be expressed. Women shouldn’t be afraid to speak up, have each other’s backs, and stick together.”

For the Canadian-born artist who headed to Nashville to pursue country music, “You Don’t Wanna Know” arrives after reaching an impressive six million digital streams from ten previous single releases to go along with over 100,000 fans on TikTok and a wave of recent milestones.

Amanda’s 2022 single “I Choose You” gained instant recognition after she performed it on Season 26 of ABC’s The Bachelor, lifting the song to #21 on the U.S. Country Billboard Sales Chart, #2 on the U.S. iTunes Country Chart, and almost two million Spotify streams. Back in Canada, she was a subsequent semi-finalist in Sirius XM’s Top of the Country 2023 Competition and a finalist in CBC Music’s 2023 Searchlight Competition. Not to be outdone, she has become a prolific actor with credits like Christmas in Maple Hills (FOX Nation), Rush For Your Life (Tubi), Holly Hobbie (BYUtv/Hulu), and Feeling Butterflies (The Hallmark Channel) over the past two years.

With “You Don’t Wanna Know,” Amanda is building on her powerful momentum while reinforcing her broad appeal to fans who connect with her honest storytelling and strong country music sensibilities. It will be followed by a slate of new singles throughout the months ahead.
