Quick & Dirty: SOiL Bassist Tim King Joins Us for Some Random Q&A
With a new year arriving, SOiL recently unveiled some exciting upcoming tour plans. The band will be a part of the “Back To The 2000s Tour,” featuring The Union Underground, RA, and Flaw. The tour is set to kick off in early March, and it will feature each act playing material from their most popular records released in those first few years of the 2000s. It’s a bit of a throwback to a time when nu-metal was on top, and the heavy music scene was as healthy as ever. SOiL bassist Tim King and The Union Underground frontman Bryan Scott jointly developed the idea for the tour. They wanted to use the tour to show that heavy music can withstand time.
SOiL has been very active in writing and recording over the last few years. In 2022, They released Play It Forward, a collection of cover songs by some of their favourite artists like White Zombie, Motörhead, and The Ramones. This was followed up last year by Restoration, which features re-recorded versions of their classic songs. You’ll hear new spins on “Halo,” “Redefine,” “Unreal,” and a brand new version of “The Lesser Man” with Ryan McCombs redoing the vocal parts.
Joining us today is SOiL bassist Tim King for Quick & Dirty, a compilation of the most random questions and answers you’ll find.
