15-year-old virtuoso guitarist and singer-songwriter Tia Penny announced today that she’ll be releasing her debut single “Joyride” on May 5th.
15-year-old virtuoso guitarist and singer-songwriter Tia Penny announced today that she’ll be releasing her debut single “Joyride” via record producer Vanessa Silberman’s A Diamond Heart Production/Poppy Records on May 5th. This single is off her upcoming EP (TBA) and will be released later this year.
The Phoenix, Arizona native’s career started when she was first discovered at the age of nine and cast in NBC’s Little Big Shots in Hollywood, CA, with Steve Harvey. Tia’s career highlights thus far have ranged from being a TEDx Speaker/performer to performing at festivals, including, Songbirds of Ramona Ranch and Mesa Music Festival.
Her music is known for its vulnerable, charming vocals, advanced guitar artistry and deeply inspiring lyrics. She’s often been compared to artists ranging from Lizzie McAlpine, Ingrid Michaelson, Elliot Smith, Phoebe Bridgers and Taylor Swift.
