The Slime, the hardcore/thrash crossover outfit from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, delivers a headbanging, champagne-fuelled hardcore party vibe in their video for “Real Garbage.” With a love of horror B-movies bleeding into their themes, the band draws musical influences from the likes of Poison Idea, Negative Approach, SNFU and Gang Green.

“‘Real Garbage’ is about a hallucinogenic level of self-loathing. Trying to walk away and recover from the tangles of life but being pulled back in so hard you have an out of body experience and may or may not have manifested a gun in your hand.” – Andy Mc

Taken from the album Living on Borrowed Slime (read our review here), released via Cursed Blessings Records, The Slime unleashes a fury of aggression in “Real Garbage.” Producing a brutal sound with ludicrous speed and high intensity, driven by thrashing instrumentation, the quartet brings a heightened listening experience. Turn The Slime up to eleven for a gruesome, old-school hardcore punk and crossover thrash explosion.

On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
