Jack Drinker’s Third Single “Who Is This Person?” is a Mental Health Anthem
Emerging queer indie-pop artist, Jack Drinker has just dropped his third single and, with existentially titled “Who Is This Person?” tackles the topic of mental health. The Steve Ornest-produced (Total Access) song, which is supposedly Drinker’s most personal to date, discusses both depression and negative self-image.
Check out single artwork and the tune below, the latter of which offers a nice mix of instruments including acoustic guitar, bass, drums, synths, and slide guitar, not to mention Drinker’s solid vocal range.
Says Drinker of his latest offering, “Writing this song gave me a space to express my experiences with depression and put words to the emotions that often got the best of me. The process of recording it has made me feel less alone and I hope it can have the same effect on others when they listen to it.”
Stay tuned for the artist’s debut music video, directed by Blake English of Two Seas Media.
