Wrapping their old folk tales in enchanting riffs and beautiful harmonies, Swedish classic rock band Lykantropi’s sound takes the listener back to the rock and folk music of the ‘70s. Reminiscent of The Mamas & The Papas, the witch’s brew of a sound concocted by the Swedes has also seen comparisons to ‘70s rock greats like Jethro Tull and Blue Öyster Cult.

The band are releasing their new single, “Coming Your Way,” today. A tale of revenge and love, you can hear our premiere of the track right below.

Speaking of the inspiration behind this tale, the band explained: “Coming your way is about the rise and fall of love. How destructive love can harden hearts and evoke the dark in people. It’s a song about revenge. It’s coming your way, we all get what we deserve in the end.”

The single is available today and you can pick up your copy here.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
