Marco DeLiso Goes “Round & Round” In our Heads

Published

on

Multi-instrumentalist Marco DeLiso has graced our blog before – with his single “And We Fall” making our top ten list soon after its release. This time DeLiso is capturing our ears with the release of “Round & Round”, a quirky indie-pop track that highlights playful piano melodies and narrates the importance of self-acceptance and welcoming one’s own internal identity instead of accepting it from the external world. Easily one of the grooviest, infectious melodies you will hear in this year’s releases, Marco DeLiso’s “Round & Round” sets him apart from the mainstream into a category all his own.
DeLiso’s diversity and sheer uniqueness is profoundly showcased in the single with jazz-infused guitars, overdubbed vocals, and cloudy lush harmony that is present throughout. DeLiso’s experimental live looping and perfectly chilled soundscape creates a montage that is reminiscent of Jack Johnson meeting D’Angelo for the first time. Beachy vocals amongst a sun-soaked, relaxed, hip-hop vibe – “Round & Round” will definitely be going round and round in your head after you listen.
Marco DeLiso is a Cambridge, Massachusetts based multi-instrumentalist and recording engineer who uses his music as a tool for expressing a common language. Stylistically, DeLiso’s music is groovy, flush with vocal harmony and presented with levity, bringing people together where they can be themselves and laugh at his silly presentation.
