After years of waiting, Des Moines metal titans, Slipknot, are bringing their Knotfest roadshow to the UK next year. The band will bring their touring show to the Milton Keynes Bowl on August 22, 2020.

The show will be headlined by the metal heavyweights with a supporting cast still to be announced although the band have promised fans a “mind-altering collision of music, art and culture”.

To get you in the mood, check out our photos of Knotfest laying waste to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA earlier this year:

Further details will be announced in 2020, while tickets will be available to members of Slipknot’s official fanclub from December 19, with general on-sale to follow.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
